So Little Time...

As I was preparing to celebrate my daughter's 23rd birthday without her alive, I'm remembering every detail of her birth. I have pictures of Anastasia right before her open heart surgery 24 hours after birth. I thought with all pictures and the memories of Anastasia would make observing her birthday a little bit more palatable. Unfortunately, it makes me cry just as much as the day she died. However sad I am, I am grateful for the pictures of the 22 years of her life. Every birthday we would have special dresses and took birthday pictures. I thank G-d I took the time and the expense to take pictures of Anastasia.

I got into professional photography because none of the photographers I hired had the experience, knowledge, or patience to work with someone as special as Anastasia. She was my calling and I thank her for that. So in honor of my baby's 23rd birthday, here are the beginning of life pictures and the last pictures I had with her with the family. Take the time to take pictures. We never had imagined that these would be the last pictures we had with her two weeks later.
